Such an excellent course for an intermediate player to really understand the theory and nuances of R&B and Neo-Soul guitar. There are no other classes out there teaching the style nearly as well.

Simone โ€” The Bearded Guitarist
Your instructor

Hi, I'm Simone.

I'm a guitarist and content creator based in London, UK, known on social media as The Bearded Guitarist. I've spent over fifteen years teaching private guitar lessons to thousands of students and playing live gigs.

In 2020 I started sharing my lessons on YouTube, and since then I've collaborated with over twenty guitar companies and reached players all over the world, growing a combined following of over 595K followers.

In 2022 I released R&B Neo-Soul Acoustic Guitar, followed by Your First Five Neo-Soul Progressions โ€” and in The Complete Fingerpicking Guitar Method I brought together everything I know about fingerpicking into one step-by-step method. And for anyone picking up a guitar for the very first time, there's now Guitar From Day One: the no-bad-habits start.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which course should I start with?
Brand new to guitar? Start with Guitar From Day One: it takes you from your very first strum to your first bar chord, with no bad habits. Already playing? If you want structure and technique across every style, start with The Complete Fingerpicking Guitar Method. If Neo-Soul is your goal, Your First Five Neo-Soul Progressions is the gentlest entry, and R&B Neo-Soul Acoustic Guitar takes you all the way. Not sure? Grab the All-Access bundle and never have to choose.
Do I get lifetime access?
Yes. Every course and bundle is a one-time purchase with lifetime access โ€” including any future updates to the courses you own.
How do the bundles work?
A bundle unlocks every course inside it for one discounted price. The Ultimate Neo-Soul Bundle includes both Neo-Soul courses; All-Access includes The Complete Fingerpicking Guitar Method and both Neo-Soul courses. Guitar From Day One is sold on its own, as it's made for complete beginners. You get instant, lifetime access to everything in the bundle.
I already own one course โ€” can I upgrade to a bundle?
Yes โ€” just reach out and I'll sort out an upgrade so you only pay the difference. You'll never pay twice for a course you already have.
Do the courses include tabs and downloads?
Every example comes with on-screen tabs and chord diagrams, plus downloadable Guitar Pro and PDF files so you can practise away from the screen.
What guitar do I need?
Any steel-string or nylon-string acoustic works beautifully โ€” and most of the material transfers to electric too. Guitar From Day One works on acoustic or electric.
Are the courses live or self-paced?
Fully self-paced. You can learn on your own schedule and revisit anything as often as you like.
What's your refund policy?
Every purchase is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If it's not for you, email me within 14 days for a full refund. See our refund policy.
